Understanding Art Mediums

After spending years trying to develop myself in a few different artistic ways, I realized that painting was my true calling. However, since there were so many different kinds of paints, it was difficult to narrow down exactly what I needed. I started thinking seriously about all of the varieties of mediums, and oil seemed interesting to me. After I began painting in oil, the entire world opened up to me.
